Happy Thanksgiving!!

The reason I have not posted in the last few days is because my Grandfather passed away on November 23rd.  I traveled up North for his funeral.  This Thanksgiving is a time for me to remember Thanksgivings in the past where my Grandparents would come over and we would eat and watch football.  My Grandpa would always nap after a big meal.  I am so fortunate that Dexter was able to meet his Great-Grandpa-twice.  Heres to him!  Hope you enjoy your first Thanksgiving in Heaven Grandpa!!

5th Tooth Today!!

OMG!  Today I woke up and Dexter has his fifth tooth today!  Its his right top canine tooth!  He got his first tooth on October 14th.  Here is our toofer order:

1.) Oct 14th-Bottom Left Front

2.) Oct 23rd-Left Upper Canine

3.) Oct 27th-Top Right Front

4.) Nov 16th-Bottom Right Front

5.) Nov 18th-Right Upper Canine

I need to get some cute teeth pictures.

REVIEW-Playskool Step Smart Walk 'n Ride

So, the other day when I was out shopping, I bought Dexter's first Christmas gift.  I was so excited because he likes to push everything around the house including boxes and our dogs!  I was proud of myself because 2 days had gone by and I still had not given it to him (even though I was tempted).  Well, on day 3, my husband told me to go ahead and give him the toy. 

As soon as I got it out Dexter's eyes lit up and he was so tickled!!  It was the cutest thing ever!

This toy is definitely worth every penny.  Dexter gets up on it and runs around.  The video above shows what he does with it when he is really tired.  I put him down for a nap less than 2 minutes after I took this video on my camera.

This Step Smart Walk 'n Ride toy has a cute moveable gear shift, two twirly spinners and a "gas cap" that twists.  Dexter especially loves the little trunk that he can open and hide things in.  It also converts to a ride on car very easily.  I was impressed.

My Christmas Obsession

I have been obsessed lately with finding the PERFECT Christmas outfit for Dexter.  This is what I have in my head *A precious little boy wearing a red and green plaid Ralph Lauren oxford shirt with a red Ralph Lauren sweater vest.  This would accompany a pair of tan Ralph Lauren corduroy pants and a nice little pair of Addison shoes from See Kai Run*

(I have not yet had the pleasure of putting a pair of See Kai Run shoes on Dexter but that day is coming real soon.)

Today is the first day of the rest of my life (my blog)

Today is my first day as a blogger.  I hope that my journey as a blogger/mother/wife/weight-loss participant help you to find your niche.  My story is much like that of others but I seem to be blunt and brutally honest.  If you need an honest opinion, just ask me!!
