I immediately ran over and grabbed Dexter so he could sport these amazing shoes! Look how perfect they look with his t-shirt and jeans!

It wasn't long before Dexter was up and walking around in his new leather kicks. They are light enough that they certainly did not impact his walking at all. I ordered these shoes in a 6-12 months and they are a little roomy for the boy. He takes after his dad and has small feet but these, I suspect will fit him for a long time.




Not only are these shoes completely suh-weet but this summer Dexter will be walking in the sand and leaving a footprint behind. I can't wait to see how this looks in the sand!

Christmas Eve

I absolutely, positively cannot wait for tomorrow morning! Dexter can open all of his Santa presents and my husband can get really shocked!!!

Dada Glasses

Dexter LOVES to play with glasses, especially his Dada's glasses. My husband always says, "No, those are Dada's glasses!" Well, what would you know, yesterday Dexter went for his Daddy's glasses and he said "Dada glasses!" OMG!! How is that even possible? He isn't even 10 months old yet! Well, I got it on video for the whole world to hear!!

3 More Days Til Christmas

OMG! I cannot believe that Christmas snuck up on me as fast as it did this year! Last thing I knew I had just had a baby, a little baby and now he is walking/talking/crazy not-so-little-baby anymore! This is Dexter's first Christmas and I am so excited for him to open all of his gifts! This will be so amazing!!!

Dexter's Surgery

Dexter is recuperating just fine following his hernia surgery this past Thursday. He is in a little bit of pain and last night was very difficult. The anesthesia gave him really bad diaper rash (common along with diarrhea in babies) so diaper changes are no fun too. I am sure he will be happy when he is allowed to take baths again. That part is probably the roughest for him :(

Thank you to See Kai Run for sending me a pair of Dominic Boots to review. They arrived via UPS and I immediately ripped the box open only to discover the cutest little shoe box inside.



I carefully unwrapped the nicest See Kai Run tissue paper and found Dexter's boots inside. Let me tell you right now how GORGEOUS these boots are!



When I pulled them out of the shoe box I immediately noticed how soft they are. They are made from butter-soft sheepskin leather. They smell so new and fresh (that won't last long with a toddler wearing them!) I grabbed them and bent them in half and they are so flexible, due to the rubber soles that they use ( that are healthy for developing feet but sturdy enough for outdoor play!) I was also impressed with the tight stitching all around the boot. It reassures me that these boots will be lasting Dexter a very long time (or until he outgrows them!)

The next thing I did was unzip/zip them several times and, to my surprise, they didn't catch once. All of us with little ones know that they are constantly playing with zippers/laces etc. When I finally allowed Dexter to put them on, he bent down and started chewing on them (of course). He then got up and trampled around the house for a while before he sat down and tried to yank them off. To my delight, he couldn't remove them himself!! I am going to wait until I treat them properly before I allow him to wear them outside.

Product Review-Boogie Wipes

Thank you to Molly from Boogie Wipes for sending me two packages of Boogie Wipes to review! I opened the box and discovered a package of 30 Grape Scented Boogie Wipes and a package of unscented Boogie Wipes.

These could not have come at a better time. Little man has been teething and has an ear infection. You know what that means.....SEVERE BOOGER NOSE! Poor baby. He is miserable. He has even given up trying to fight the aspirator because he knows it helps him to breathe. Here are a couple of pictures of is poor nose.






Well, after I took these pictures, I opened the package of Grape Boogie Wipes and I noticed that it not only smelled nice but it was perfectly moist. The wipe itself was huge. I tried to rip it in half because I could use it twice but they are really thick and strong! I approached Dexter and I held the wipe so he could smell it (the best he could with his gucky nose!) and he smiled. I knew I was in. I took it and swiped it under his poor nose. One swipe is all it took to get rid of a lot of mucus! I was thoroughly impressed. And to think I had been using Kleenex and wet washcloths. No wonder his nose was so raw :(

I used these wipes all day and I am a proud to announce that Dexter's nose is no longer a big, red, raw mess. It is starting to heal thanks to the Aloe and Vitamins in the Boogie Wipes. These wipes rock! You certainly can't beat getting them for $3.99 at Amazon.

I have also seen them at Rite Aid and Walmart. I know one thing for sure. MY HOUSE WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT A PACKAGE OF BOOGIE WIPES and I will start to give these to all the baby showers I attend from now on. This is definitely a staple!!

Things have not been going well for me lately, at all! I have seen much brighter days. There is hope and with it I find myself really wanting to win a beautiful set of 4 computers from HP! 9 Month Check Up

So, at Dexter's 9 month check up we discovered that he is 19.1 lbs (25th percentile), 30 1/4" long (95th percentile) and has a head circumference of 45.2 cm (50th percentile).

He also has an ear infection. She gave us antibiotics because he needs to be better before his surgery next week!!

6th Tooth on 9 Month Birthday

I was so busy in the UP that I neglected to mention that Dexter got his 6th tooth!!! He now has all four on the top and his two front bottom teeth! He looks way too cute!!!
