I never truly knew how large and grand life could be before I became a mother. Sure, I thought that I had it all figured out and I thought that I knew what love was. Dexter has changed that inside of me. I now cherish every day and for that I am eternally grateful.
I was just reading my pregnancy journal and on this day, last year I wrote the following entry:
"2/19-Daddy is nesting! I sure love him so much-we can't wait to meet you. The hospital bag is almost fully packed!!"

Aww! I still turn into waterworks when I think of my little ones growing up no matter what day it is. First birthdays are fun, though, so enjoy the day with your little guy :-)

I get weepy thinking about how fast time goes by now, too, for my son. The more you wish it would it slow down and The older they get....the faster it goes, I think.
