OK, I did the math and found out that all of the babies born in 2007 X 3,796 diapers would mean that (are you ready???)
16,263,235,000 diapers ended up in a landfill!!!!
Yes, you read that right, 16 BILLION diapers. Are you shocked? Disgusted?

I don't like the stats, but I will continue to be ashamed of myself privately. I have not been able to bring myself to deal with poo any other way than disposing of it quickly and completely. I try to do everything else to be green (recycle, keep lights off and electronics unplugged, reuse items) but the disposable diapers are the one thing I can't give up (well, that and paper towels).....I am going to potty train as soon as possible to eliminate some impact soon. I am proud of you for making the switch, thanks for helping pick up the slack for the rest of us......including me.
Another gross one is that you can fill a 4 bedroom 3 bath house to the top with diapers in a year alone! EWWWWW
