Funky Monkey Snack Review

I was just having a discussion with some of my Mommy friends and we were discussing snack foods for our babies. They asked what new foods each baby is now eating. I almost had forgotten Funky Monkey snacks! How could I? They are freeze-dried fruit that contains no added sugar, preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup! The freeze drying helps to preserve all of the natural vitamins/minerals in the fruit so they are just as wholesome as fresh fruit.

Dexter got to try the Bananamon (Cinnamon Sprinkled Bananas), Jivealime (Lime Pineapple), Carnival Mix (pineapple, mangoes, papaya, raisins, apple, banana) and Purple Funk (Banana and Acai). Dexter seemed to love the pineapple the best and the Bananamon was a huge hit too. I don't care for freeze-dried fruit myself but he loved all of the flavors. I like them because there are 3 servings of fruit in each bag and they are nutritious. They are also gluten-free, wheat-free and dairy-free. Talk about healthy snacking!
