Sick of Being Flabby

A few weeks ago I decided that enough was enough. I need to lose this extra 50ish pounds once and for all. What better reason than my 10 year high school reunion this fall! Well, last week I worked out AND dieted every day. I took yesterday off from working out because my muscles were fatigued.

Come to find out that my 10 year reunion is the same day as my brother-in-law's wedding down in Florida. So now I am calling it my BIL wedding shape up! I am going to wear a cute strapless dress (and look good in it) even if it kills me!

I took my measurements and a few fat pictures and now I can't look back. Do you have any advice for me? Keeping it fresh and interesting? Good low carb recipes you want to share?

Here is my favorite low carb recipe that I can't get enough of! (this was written by a dear friend of mine. Who would have guessed she teached English to middle schoolers LOL)

Spaghetti Squash Pizza
Cut in half lenghthwise 1 med-lg spaghetti squash.

Remove seeds.

Add 1Tbsp water to each half.

Microwave until tender (6-8 min.)

Scoop out strands into mixing bowl.

Add 2-3 eggs amd 2C. parmesan and mix.

Spread evenly onto pregreased pan.

Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

Add toppings and bake until cheese is golden brown.

I just ran across your blog! I love the Spaghetti Squash Recipe. Can't wait to try it. My husband and I found about 6 mon. ago that we needed to lose weight and I started on a mission.
