My husband and I got married two years ago today, September 1st. We had been together for 6 years and recently had found out that I was 4 weeks pregnant. My husband wanted to do the right thing for the baby and marry me right away. We married 12 weeks later in Old Mission Lighthouse Park right on the beach. The wedding was quaint and beautiful. It wasn't the wedding of my dreams but that didn't matter because I was marrying the man of my dreams. Thinking about all of the new responsibilities that we would encounter being new parents, we were not able to justify going on a honeymoon. Because being an active parent is important to me, we decided to not send our son to daycare. Rather, I work nights and weekends and my husband works days. I have never loved my husband more than I do this very moment that I am tying this. I would marry him over and over again from now until eternity. He is my rock, my strength and my best friend. I don't always tell him how much he means to me but by renewing our vows in the middle of the same Lake we got married on would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for this opportunity.
