I know you all know about BPA but in case you have lived under a rock for the last couple of years (or just want to be reminded) here is what BPA is and what it potentially does. Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a hormone-disrupting chemical considered to be potentially harmful to human health and the environment. It has been known that scratched and worn polycarbonate feeding bottles will leach this chemical into liquids. BPA has been linked to prostate problems, early mammary gland growth/development, behavior problems in toddlers and many more detrimental disorders.
What can we do about it? Well, since 95% of the baby bottles in the US contain BPA we can stop buying products that contain this hormone disruptor until the government limits companies from manufacturing with it. It is good for our bodies and great to show the point! One other thing we can do is educate ourselves.

How about storing your leftovers in glass or BPA-free plastic? I recently was sent a set of Kinetic GoGreen glass storage containers for review. They are really nice! Not only are they BPA free but they are made of tempered glass which makes it more difficult to break. The interlocking covers are also really nice because they snap on and create a nice, tight seal! They are air tight and liquid tight. Nothing can get through that seal! You can purchase them on Amazon or drugstore.com.
