BornFree Review/Giveaway-CLOSED

Dexter was a breastfed baby. I chose this avenue not only because it was the healthiest choice for him but also because of the long-term effects that it would have on him. I wasn't very aware of BPA and other toxins/chemicals 2 years ago when he was born. I was rather naive. It didn't take me long to learn about these chemicals and to educate myself.

I remember bringing Dexter home from the hospital and just staring at him forever. I loved looking at him and I loved smelling him! He was perfect. I did, however, have the hardest time burping him. I would have to try and try forever. Once we started with bottles for my little man, I chose Playtex (stupid me!). They were a pain because they didn't help in the gas department either. Here I was, taking all my precious time to pump my invaluable milk into BPA laden bottles! I still kick myself to this day. Well that didn't last long because I hated those bottles.

Time went on and I heard more about BPA and just how harmful it was. I researched new bottles and found two choices: Dr. Browns and BornFree. I read reviews, talked to people and I decided that BornFree was the way to go.

The first time we used the BornFree glass bottles with Dexter was revolutionary. He ate really fast, as usual, and afterward he burped immediately! On.His.Own! I was shocked. It was the biggest burp ever. I thought maybe it was an anomaly but each feeding, from then on, he continued to burp on his own!

I cannot say anything negative at all about BornFree glass bottles. We even washed them by hand and I would do it again (all 6 pieces) in a minute. These bottles are incredible! I dropped them and they never broke. I never even had a silicone sleeve for mine. Do you want to know how AWESOME these bottles are? BornFree is going to give ONE lucky winner a 9oz. glass bottle! All I would like you to do is head over to BornFree and find something that you think will make me say WOW! Come back here and tell me what it is!

This was under their Latest news! It Wow'd me I am sure it will do the same or you!

"They say a new study found that, when exposed to heat, baby bottles release a chemical that, researchers say, has been linked to obesity, diabetes and developmental problems in lab animals."

I'm a first time mom, I didn't know that, infact I don't know alot! thanks for the site and info.

They also sell a Stainless Steel Water Bottle that is BPA free.
I had purchased a name brand water bottle that I thought was BPA free but then news reports said it wasn't. I like the idea of satinless steel.

This Wow'ed me bcz my oldest suffered with ear infections:

The unique vent on the BornFree™ feeding system prevents the need for sucking unnaturally hard and thereby reduces the risk of middle ear infection.

I learned that they have an Inner Valve and Air Vent which helps eliminate colic symptoms by reducing vacuum build up. That's pretty cool!

The 17 oz Thermal Stainless Steel Flask is pretty neat. I like that it'll keep milk cold for hours which is super handy when we're out & about. Plus it comes with a carry case, they think of everything! tylerpants(at)gmail.com

Hello. I think you just might be wowed to learn that the silicone teether has a built-in gum brush (for babies 6 mos and up) to help prevent plaque and bacteria build-up and to also massage baby's gums. Pretty neat.

Thanks for the giveaway, and GLTA!
