This Is A BIG One.......

Ok, so I rarely let loose and talk about what I want and need. You know very little about me these days because I have been so busy writing reviews and giveaways that I have neglected to talk more about me.

WELL.....I am TTC #2 and I am struggling with this. September was the month DH and I decided that we were actually ok with the thought of another baby. Part of me is enjoying having a child that sleeps 10-11 hours each night because I LOVE SLEEP too but the other part of me NEEDS A BABY!! I haven't been on any birth control since Dexter was born and I use Fairhaven Health's Fertile Focus Ovulation Microscope. I then know when I am Oing. I have never been in tune with my body and therefore am not psychic as to when I am actually Oing. I don't feel an egg being released. In fact, all I typically hear is MAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! lol

I am also taking Fairhaven Health's FertiliAid for Women along with their FertileCM which helps increase a woman's cervical mucus. Come on here, throw me a bone. I need help, its obvious.

I need tips! I know all of you are mothers which, more than likely means you have gotten pregnant. Did you struggle? What am I doing wrong? Its damn near February and I want a baby. Don't tell me not to stress about it either, because I'm not. Even if you don't have any advice, just comment and tell me that you'll pray for the unity of sperm and egg.....

How exciting! We're done so I love to live vicariously through others :D

I'm assuming then you've been able to confirm that you are ovulating. That's the obviously the first step. Do you know how long your luteal phase is? the time from ovulation til the first day of your period. I think it needs to be a minimum of 12 days to support a pregnancy. Once those are in order it's just the fun part and knowing when to time it.

I used vitex (an herb called chasteberry) to regulate my cycles, it can also help lengthen your luteal phase. It worked for me after I had my first and for my sister who has PCOS. Good luck!

I wish I had some good advice but our daughter was an IVF baby after 10 years of TTC. So, I'm no help. But, I can give you encouragement that if you truly want a child you should pursue (and for lack of a better word, fight for one). It can be an emotional roller coaster but as you know it's so worth it! Sending you pregger vibes and best wishes! Keep us posted.

I have no advice for you. I used the Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software to chart each month. Praying for you!

I understand what you are going through. There is five years between my two children. It took us nearly two years to conceive when out first child took one month. For me I think it was stress in my life that was causing me to not conceive, we were dealing with a family crisis with my brother-in-law that was causing strain in our home. But I did look into accupuncture as I had several friends who had success with it. Just as I was getting ready to give it a whirl is when we conceived, our "Little Luv" is now 8 months old. I will send thoughts and prayers your way.
