Tidy Books Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

March is National Reading Month and I am here to celebrate with you. Seeing as though I am a Highly-Qualified (thanks to NCLB) Elementary Reading Teacher it is no surprise that I was reading to Dexter well before birth. When I was pregnant with him I use to read "Oh Baby the Places You'll Go" I loved that book so much and I know Dexter loved it too because he would kick and wiggle when I would read it. It was our special time. I have to admit that Dexter owns over 100 books. I could easily say 150 but I don't want to sound obsessive! He loves Sandra Boynton, Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss to name a few. Up until recently his books were housed on a shelf that was easy for him to reach. At least once a day he would charge up to the shelf and clear all of the books off in one fell swoop. It drove me batty! I knew there had to be a better way to organize all of Dexter's books. The search lead me to Tidy Books and I fell in love at first sight!

This wonderful bookcase is made from sustainable sources which is very important to me! It also comes in your choice of four colors; white, blue, pink or natural. You also can choose from upper case letters, lower case letters or no letters. I chose the natural color with lower case letters. I love how adorable the bookcase is, with or without books in it! The amazing part is that this bookcase can also hold up to 85 books of all shapes and sizes. That is a lot of books. I have limited the number of books that I store in the bookcase to about 35. This is because I don't let Dexter play with all of his books because he isn't always so nice to them. I want to preserve some until he is a little bit older and more responsible.

The Tidy Books bookcase is shipped flat and must be assembled upon receipt. This took my husband about 15 minutes to do. Real easy! Another feature that I LOVE about this bookcase is the fact that it affixes to the wall so that kids cannot pull it down on them self. It only sticks out a few inches! So not only is this bookcase handmade by the sweetest lady in the UK but it is made with Sustainable Materials and it is adorable. Plus Plus Plus in my book!
