Five Fun Family Vacation Activities Your Kids Will Love

I love family vacations! Nothing means more than sightseeing and relaxing with the ones you love! What are my 5 Fun Family Vacation Activities that Your Kids will Love? Since I have a 2 year old, these are pretty low-key!

1. Find some water activities! Whether it be the beach or the pool, your kids will love to splash around. Parents will love it because it will tire them out so they will sleep like logs!
2. I love finding fun new restaurants (and so does Dexter). My husband and I are foodies through and through and I love to profess that Dexter loves creme brulee!
3. Make a Scavenger Hunt. We do this on the beach. We ask Dexter to come up with certain items. He puts them in his pail/shoe whatever is along for the trip. It engages him and helps him use his imagination!
4. Dexter loves animals so we always try to find a petting zoo or something so he can have him own day of fun while away from home.
5. Older kids might love starting a collection of some sort. It can be postcards, stamps or shotglasses (ok, maybe thats my collection but you get the point). This way kids have a sense of ownership and have a riot while on vacation!

My kids love the zoo. I've never taken them on a scavenger hunt but I bet they would love that too.

All ideas are great, but besides this, this is the only occasion when you spend your time with your children so take care of them at their best. Try to visit the places which mostly children likes.

I like the idea of a collection! We like the beach, what I'm finding is kids want to go to Disney, and I'm always looking for inexpensive trips that are a blast for the kids. Thanks for the great tips!
