Wisk Stain Fighting Technology Then and Now

There are so many catchy commercials out there that I never seem to get out of my head.  Its those catchphrases that get people to remember products, right?  I find myself often declaring, "Calgon Take Me Away!" even though I would never truly bathe in that chemical concoction.  Another catchphrase is "Ring Around the Collar"  I wasn't around in the 70s when this commercial debuted but I remember it in the 80s!  Here is a clip of that old commercial:

Can you believe that Whisk engineered the first liquid laundry detergent back in 1956!  HOLY MOLEY!  I didn't know they even had washing machines back then!  Well, good thing Wisk did because they created a product to help America's housewives clean their family's laundry more efficiently.

Wisk recently changed their stain fighting ingredients but the price remains the same ($5.99 for 50 oz.).  Did you know that there are hundreds of different stains but most stains fall into three major groups:

  • Carbohydrates such as milk
  • Proteins such as grass
  • Oils such as peanut butter

The other groups of stains include:

    • Bio such as blood
    • Bleachable such as coffee
    • Particulate such as dirt
    • Synthetic such as ink

New powerful stain fighting formula. It doesn’t matter which of these stains you encounter, new Wisk with Stain Spectrum ™Technology  is the solution to tackle them all.

Now I know what you are all thinking, why is Dexter's Super Savvy Mommy talking about a detergent that is not eco-friendly.  Well, the truth of the matter is that we all have stains.  I have had the hardest time removing stains from my husband's shirts.  I swear he bathes his shirts in grease!  I have tried eco-friendly stain removers, regular stain removers and neither have given me much success.  Over the next few months you will follow me and my journey with the all new Wisk!  If it can work on my husband's stains, it can work on anybody's stains!  I am really excited to try the new Wisk products on Dexter and Jason's clothing but wait until Wisk meets breastmilk poopie stains!  Oh boy oh boy am I excited!

Look at how far Wisk has come over the last 50 years!
