I have confessed my non-green lifestyle in previous posts.  I blame my old ways on being uneducated about the issues.  It wasn't until Dexter was about 9 months old that I woke up.  Speaking of waking up, remember this AMAZING video?

When I 'woke up' one of the things I realized was how bad disposable diapers are.  They are not only bad for the environment but also bad for your wallet.  I started cloth diapering Dexter when he was 9 months old and even though people thought I was nuts, I wasn't going to let them sway me back to sposies.


I have always been a HUGE fan of pocket diapers.  Thats where you stuff the microfiber insert into the diaper's "pocket"  I found this to be as easy as pairing socks.  I would wash my diapers and dry them and when I was folding laundry I would stuff my diapers too.  Easy!


Recently I saw a picture on someone's website that looked a little like this:

Isn't that cuteness overload?  I thought, OMG I love that diaper.  A few days later I was looking for diapers for the new baby when I came across Thirsties®.  I was perusing their Duo Diapers when I came across their Blackbird print!  THERE IT WAS!  I still can't believe how cute this diaper is.  Cute and efficient!  The gussets are snug, the hook and loop closures are secure and the print is irresistible!  What more can you ask for?
