Halloween Adventure Costume Review-1920's Plus Size Flapper

I love Halloween. I am not sure its the allure of being someone else for the day or the copious amounts of candy one gets to eat guilt-free.  I love dressing up but I have a hard time finding the right costume for me. Traditional Halloween stores usually don't carry plus size costumes and that makes a big girl want to cry.

Online there are many choices for selecting the perfect plus size costume. My husband's sister got married on Halloween and it was a 20's themed wedding so I knew I needed to find a 1920's costume for her special day! When I found the flapper dress that you see below, I knew it was for me! The length looked perfect, the color was what I was looking for and they were plus size!

When the costume arrived it took me no time to get it on. I was so impressed with the quality and feel of the dress. It has a light stretch to it so there are no worries that it might be too snug. I always order up a size when I buy costumes because I'd rather something be a little too big than not flattering at all being too small. This costume is very flattering and has a lot of forgiveness to it.

It was so light and comfortable that it almost felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. The costume was perfect for the wedding and the dancing all night at the reception. I paired the dress with a black wig and a string of costume pearls for the perfect look. I had people complimenting me all night long. I am 5'6" and this dress hit me just above the knee. It was perfect. The costume literally felt like it was made for me. The best part is-it is such a high quality costume that I can wear it for years to come!

Here is a picture of the husband and I all dressed up for the wedding! Can you guess who he went as?

If you are looking for the perfect costume for yourself then look no further than Halloween Adventure because they have something for everybody-even us big girls who need to dress up too!

*I was sent this costume for my honest review. No other compensation was received. I was not obligated to write a positive review*
