My Little Firefighter-Halloween Costume Review

It is so hard to believe that in less than a week my baby will be 5 years old! Where the heck does the time go? Here he was at his Kindergarten class field trip to the pumpkin patch! Oliver is such a special little boy. He has a wild zest for adventure and he adores firefighters and ambulance drivers. He has been telling me for a couple of years that when he grows up he wants to be a construction worker, firefighter, ambulance driver and cowboy all at the same time. Talk about melting Mommy's heart!Last year, Oliver was a firefighter for Halloween. I wouldn't have imagined that he would have chosen the same hero this year but he did. Instead of wearing last year's costume (that does fit because he is a peanut) I decided to look online to see what else I could find. I found several that I liked but decided to go with the the Costume SuperCenter.  They had so many different costumes to choose from and even though I was apprehensive about picking out a tan Firefighter Costume, I went with it after all. I am so happy that I did because it is far nicer than I would have imagined based on the pictures on the website.Oliver happened to be home when his costume arrived and he was so excited to try it on (sorry, I didn't get any pictures because the pants are a little too long but its a super easy fix!) The costume comes in 3 pieces; the helmet, pants with suspenders and the jacket. The quality of the costume is far superior than most costumes that I have purchased or seen over the years. It would definitely hold up LONG after trick-or-treating is over. We ordered the size small 4-6 costume. The jacket sleeves are a little long and the pants have two sizes to adjust on the suspender part. Even though there are two sizes to adjust, we will have to made another set of holes a few inches up the strap so the buttons can be adjusted more. Oliver weighs 32.4 pounds and is 40" tall. He is the exact opposite of Dexter at this age!I would highly recommend purchasing your family's costume needs from Costume SuperCenter as they have a very wide selection and prices that can't be beat!
